Our branching feature is a powerful way to guide your customers to the right questions and keep them engaged. With conditions, you can quickly adapt to their needs. For example, if they're looking for a painting job, you can ask follow-up questions about the type of painting they need. Or if they're interested in a deck work, you can show them specific questions too. Let's explore how to do it step by step.
First, let's get into the flow editor. You can find it by clicking on the flow name. Then, you'll see how easy it is to add conditions above each question block. In the video, I already set up a few conditions based on the question "what type of work do you need done?" We have painting, woodworking, and other. We've added follow-up questions for each one.
Now I will show you how to create a new condition for deck work. It's easy to do. Just click the plus condition button and choose "create new condition." Give it a name, such as "deck," and link it to the question "what type of work do you need done?" Once you've done that, this question will only appear if the condition is met. It's a great way to streamline your flow and get the right information from your customers.
Once you've made updates to your flow, don't forget to hit the "update flow" button. Then, you can preview your flow and see how it looks for your customers. In the video, I will take us through an example, and we can see how it switches between painting, woodworking, and deck questions depending on the customer's choice.
Overall, using conditions and branching can help you save time, capture better data, and provide a great experience for your customers. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@hellogroundwork.com. Let's get started!
